The resort is located in the Lleida Pyrenees between the Val d'Aran and Valls d’Àneu and is made up of four large areas. The famous Baqueira, Beret, Bonaigua and the more recent addition, Baciver.
Known as the “heart of the Spanish Pyrenees” and occasional home to Spanish royalty, there are a variety of towns and villages with accommodation and amenities to suit your time in resort and perhaps more importantly, your budget.
Without question, Baqueira/Beret is home to some of the best skiing terrain available. 162 km of marked pistes and 5 km of off-piste routes allow for a great range of possibilities. The resort also maintains substantial freestyle park, boardercross and race-piste areas that are open and available to all. These areas are also used to host some of the many international and regional events taking place during the winter season.
When all is said and done, Baqueira/Beret offers great terrain for every skiing scenario and caters for every level of skier. From nervous first steps on snow to all mountain, all weather, powder hunting, heli-skiing, black run test pilots… Rest assured Baqueira Beret has got you covered. We’re sure you’ll be making full use of this wonderful resort and all the skiing it has to offer.
The resort is easily accessible from Toulouse airport and the journey takes around two and a half hours, give or take. Barcelona airport is also an option but journey time is a little longer, approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes.
The overall convenience of resort and frequency of flights from the UK into either airport make Baqueira/Beret an ideal venue for long weekends, mid-week breaks and family holidays.
