World Class Training has structured and provides comprehensive first aid courses for specific environments whether office or mountain. As part of their repertoire they provide group and bespoke first aid courses for snowsport and outdoor instructors.
Apart from the obvious value of holding a First Aid qualification it is also recognised and required by snowsport associations and governing bodies to validate your instructor licence.
The team of First Aid trainers are all outdoor Instructors in different fields so knowledge and experience ensures you have the best practical skills for dealing with accidents in an open environment.
WCT have developed their first blended first aid course. This blended learning approach is delivered through an online evening session in a “virtual” classrom and a single day to cover all required practical elements of the course. This ensures learning outcomes online are met before attending the practical session and assessment.

For the first time I could feel the difference in my skiing and that I was making progress, and I understood exactly what I needed to do.
The course is open to those aged 16 or above. It is split between an evening online Zoom session and a single day performing practical elements adhering to HSE requirements. Once successfully completed it is valid for 3 years although HSE recommend attending a 2 hour refresher every 12 months.
